SCOOP FEST WITH DOUBLESCOOP NEVADA
Double Scoop, Nevada’s independent visual arts publication, presents Scoop Fest, a new community art festival where people can get to know local artists and find out what the region’s arts organizations have to offer. Event highlights include: Ice cream, lunch, and soft drinks; Jewelry and ceramics for sale at our Mini Artisan Market; A silent raffle with premium original artworks as prizes; Painter Greg Allen’s exhibition A Certain Quality of Light: Paintings from the Desert West on view in the gallery; An artist talk by Greg Allen at 2 p.m. Reps from local art organizations offering signups, swag, demos, and details about their exhibitions, classes, and other programs as well.
