More information about the participating artists and their work can be found on our EXHIBITION PAGE including artist statements short bios and 3 essays pertaining to this series of exhibitions and issues relating to incarceration.

Far Beyond the Walls includes more than 22 artists, 7 solo exhibitions, a group show of poetry by formerly incarcerated artists, and a group show of currently incarcerated people from Lovelock and Northern Nevada Correctional Facilities.

We had a fantastic turn out for the opening, with wonderful essay by Jessica Santina for Double Scoop and a brilliant press write up by Kris Vagner for RN&R!

Thank you to everyone who took part and has visited - the responses and reflections from visitors have been incredible!

Big thanks to the Nevada State Prison Preservation Society for all of their collaboration, help, volunteer work, wrangling of rodents and electrics, laughs, support for the project and absolute belief in the power of art!
