2024 in a nutshell
2024 was a huge year of collaborations, exhibitions and art fairs.
MELHOP GALLERY º7077 produced 12 solo exhibitions, 3 group shows, 1 art fair and PBS filmed a podcast and an ARTEFFCTS episode of our series Far Beyond the Walls.
2024 started off with the loss of our dear friend and brilliant artist Galen Brown.
In collaboration with the Nevada State Prison Preservation Society, we produced a series of 11 solo exhibitions, and 2 group shows inside the decommissioned Nevada State Prison complex.

UnSaid. Dienstegebäude Art Space, Zurich, Switzerland
This group exhibition features work from artists in authoritarian and democratic countries and is a joint reflection on the relationship between censorship and repressive mechanisms at play. It dwells on the issues of self-censorship, power dynamics and things we often don’t say or simply can’t.
